Cadet Program

Over the past 35 years, Junior Cadets have worked with sworn and non-sworn personnel at events such as National Night Out, Stockton Police K-9 Trials, San Joaquin County Fair, and the Cinco de Mayo parade and event.

As the Stockton Police Department adopted Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS), we recognized the need to form a direct line of communication with the youth of our community. This program helps young adults develop responsibility, trust, teamwork, and other leadership characteristics maybe even future Police Officers.

About

The Stockton Police Youth Activities (SPYA) is a nonprofit organization fully supported by volunteer Stockton Police Officers. Incorporated since 1971, SPYA has flourished due to the commitment of the volunteer police officers to provide leadership and community service.
